Right now, I am just gathering parts to get it running and acid rinsing the tank. Waiting on points, cables, headlight brackets, Bill S manuals and adjustable clip-ons. Haven't even started it yet. Still soaking the tank and figuring out the exhaust. Anyone know where I can get a set of cb headers? I'll probably get the Dunstall mufflers from JCW. So far, it has a new battery, new Redwing shocks, drained the oil and rinsed with kerosene/trans fluid, drained the fork oil, cleaned the carbs, replaced the battery connectors with heavy duty Home Depot parts and relocated the foot pegs. Never mind the upside down scrambler handlebars. Just put them on to push the bike around.

Detroit area. I just updated my profile. Thanks! I can't wait to start it. Hopefully, I don't have any motor issues. Just waiting on parts to be delivered, mainly the exhaust!

I've been watching this amusing eBay listing for the past few months: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda-CY ... 1338wt_958
The price is slowly descending, but still laughable.....
Funny - I just saw that auction. Same seller has a CB160 fender, ($165). Wonder if it will sell.

I noticed this auction as well (no, I have no plans to buy it!). So what should the price of this seat be? Is it in fact the 'real deal'?
Vince, I always reckon that any item is worth what a buyer is prepared to pay; e.g. a NOS kickstand made $450 last week on eBay!
Perhaps this seat is worth $1300, rarity-value and all that, and one can't blame a seller for trying. I guess someone out there will pay strong money for it eventually assuming the price drops into 3-figures instead of 4. I was just wondering if the pan is beaten from sheet gold......
Hey Davomoto, I noticed your trick exhaust. Can you give me some details? How did you get two right side exhausts to fit? Will all this fit a CB77? Isn't the motor the same so that the cylinder angle is the same? Will a stock set of CL77 headpipes fit a CB77?
