Engine cleaning

Post by kenkah » Sun Apr 08, 2012 9:29 pm

I was just wondering what some of you have used to clean the engine?

I am trying to the outside of the engine looking good as mine really looks dull and tarnished. I've used some wire brushes which have helped but still isn't where I want it. Any suggestions would be great.

Simple green and green scotch brite pads work well.

That's what I use. For parts that can be removed, Simple Green in a cheap ultrasonic works great.
