Since I've been lurking and getting help I figured I should post some pics.. one for now but more to come

Prior owner repainted it red from the original black. He also trimmed down the front fender. From what I can tell its all original other than the tires. Only missing part was the chain guard but I found one that I can repaint and install. Right now the tank is off so I can rebuild the petcock and treat the tank as well as run new lines. Next is clearing out the carb. Has good spark but wouldn't start due to a fuel flow issue ( I think).

Nice bike. The red colour is quite attractive and suits the bike well. Mufflers are not original but everything else looks good from the pics.

Pulled tank off..took off petcock and it was full of rust and gunk. Used a POR15 kit ( I think its ok.. a few spots in tank not as good as I would like but better than it was) and a rebuild kit on petcock.
Hopefully when I am back in town in a week some fresh fuel lines and good gas and it will finally start up! Also invested in some new screws...and a JIS screwdriver set.

nice clean bike, too bad about that fender, but it had prob been buckled anyway off a curb or something.
Im taking my Dream on a short road trip from Nashville In, down to a little historic town called Story Indiana. Theres an Inn down there all dressed up like an old gas station we want to get a pic of the bikes in front of it.

New screws for petcock wont fit-- they are too thick. Used the right part number, but seems the old number was replaced with a new one ( same as old but with an A on the end). Was really hoping to get tank back on today and see if it would fire.
