Post by Quinn » Thu Jun 16, 2011 6:42 pm

OK about a year ago i found a 1965 Honda super hawk in an old ladies barn it has been sitting in there for 30 years she said the guy road the bike there and never came back to get it when i bought it the engine was totally locked up from a mouse nest in one of the cylinders so a put new pistons in it and got it freed up and the bike is all back together now but i just cant get any spark i cleaned the points the coils get power points get power condenser is holding voltage tested coils with ohm meter and they showed to be working as well everything electrical is working so i just don't know what to try at this point if anyone knows what is wrong or has any suggestions i would more then appreciate it thanks, Quinn (p.s. i called the Honda dealership and he said play around with the points could anyone help me with how to do that)

Try removing (unscrew) the plug caps, trimming 1/2 inch or so from the wires, and re-installing

try this: http://www.honda305.com/cb77_700/cb77-716.htm

If that doesn't work, go to yellow sidebar on left (at least in my browser) to FAQ, then "how do I tune my CB77 for maximum performance." follow directions exactly. good luck, Lee
