Selling my 1962 Honda Dream 305cc

Post by geoffp » Sat Dec 24, 2022 2:39 pm

Up for sale is my 1962 Honda Dream 305cc. $6800, or best offer. I originally purchased this classic motorcycle while I was stationed in Oahu, HI in 2011. I have not ridden the bike at all since moving to Northern Virginia in 2019. In fact it's been in my garage until recently - it just got a bunch of work done to it at Urban East and she is running great! I've got all the records back to 2011 when I purchased it. Title in hand, also have a solo seat as well as the double seat that I had reupholstered in 2017 in buffalo hide (and new foam). Bike has 15k miles on it.

10/2022 Carburetor rebuilt, cleaned, adjusted. Timing adjusted, valves adjusted, new battery, new spark plugs, oil changed, filter cleaned, crank case clutch gasket replaced, right side crank seals replaced, all cables lubricated and adjusted, brake light replaced and brake switch adjusted, new Firestone Deluxe Champion whitewall tires installed.
08/2017 Had new style petcock installed
06/2017 Had new Regulator Rectifier from Charlie’s Place installed
04/2017 New plug, cap, battery, cam chain/clip, electronic ignition, exhaust valve, gasket kit, piston set, carburetor, top end rebuild, carb clean/adjust/tune
06/2013 New tail light cover
05/2012 Oil Change, resealed right side exhaust to headers
08/2011New battery, adjust steering head bearing, adjust clutch cable, pilot jet cleaned, plug, spring, points.

GLWS - nice bike.

Question(s) regarding the solo seat.

Is that a custom seat ?

Just wondering because it has the Honda logo on the rear.

And - did you do the solo seat bracket fabrication ?

Thanks, Dan
