The cover is missing and it's possible the wires have been moved to the other side. ..........lm

It also looks like it has been bent back. The pair of plates that take the mounting bolts should be flat and parallel. They appear not to be in this picture. Perhaps the cover was knocked off in a collision. Do the forks show any sign of being pushed back and repaired?

Thanks to all. The bike has not been wrecked as I know of. Been in storage for 40 years. Forks look good, fender aligned good, just horn missing its cover. Yes, I see where it may be bent a tad. Looking for a cover on different sites. Found the whole horn on eBay, but looks like a different model--too expensive too. $89. Are the early models and late model 305's horn different?

there are about 4-5 versions of dream horns. with overlapping model years. the covers, as far as I know have two or three versions. the covers, being steel, can be repaired/painted easily. PM me and I can fix you up.
Thanks
Randy
