Hitch mount carrier for 305

Any one use a hitch mount carrier for hauling 305 Dream? Idea what these bikes weigh?

Never used a hitch mount, but I've thought about it. A Dream has a dry weight of about 375 lbs. Most pickup hitches are rated about 500 Lbs, but that's close in where the weight would be on a hitch ball. It might be boarderline when you get out far enough to clear the tailgate. I'm not sure what most carriers are rated.
