I bought my 65 CA77 this past Fall and started in ernest about Dec 1 to bring it back to its former glory and throw in a few of my own personal touches...I bought a front fender from a outfit in
Alabama (that was an adventure all by itself) and the guy assured me the fender was from a CA77
and in good shape....the fender was a CA95 and quite a bit skinnier but I made it work-I made 2
plates( front and rear) the shape of the CA95 fender and made them fit my front end-I think the thinner fender will lend itself well to the overall look that I am after....
Front FenderLooks good but too bad you couldn't find the right fender. You sure your wheel and tire will have enough room when it fully compresses the suspension, and with the soft suspension on these dreams, it will compress a long ways. Would hate to see you bottoming out on your fender, which it might very well do.
