Fork dampener?

Post by powerwheels125 » Sun Feb 20, 2011 9:08 pm

Hi, I've got a '64 Dream 305 and the fork dampener is not connected to anything... it just kind of sits in there, I assume it's supposed to screw into the bottom somewhere but either the bar is too short or there's nothing down there to screw into. It doesn't seem to affect anything but I'd like to figure it out. Anybody else have this problem?
