Year of my CA78 ??

I have a CA78, whose old, old title states that it is supposed to be a 1968 year model.

It's VIN is CA78-1026364 while its Engine S/N is CA77E 1026258.

Is there any reason to doubt that it is in fact a 1968 model?

Hi. Apparently Honda ceased production of the ca77 in 1967 ( according to Mr. Silvers' guides ) so you can go from there. Try checking your wire harness for a little white tag with the date of manufacture for the wiring harness. This almost always corresponds to the date of manufacture of the motorcycle. It is located under the fuel tank. Cheers, Jeff H.

They stopped production in1967 but were titled the year that they were sold, I have one that is titled a 1969.
