Is this fender trim original or aftermarket?

My 1963 Dream came with this front fender trim. I'm assuming it's not OEM but some sort of aftermarket or homemade item. It's chrome and mount with three bolts. Anyone see one of these before or know anything about it?

I have seen photos of OEM ones and they were different from this one.

That looks very similar to what is on my bike ('64 CA77) except for the "H". Mine just has support tubing in the shape of a "V". I bet the "H" on your trim was added later. Mmmmmm, custom. I'll post a pic if I can.

It's kind of cool but the "H" is a little blocky looking for my taste. Still, it is unusual and someone went to the trouble of making it so I may have it re-chromed.
