Thats a good idea about the valves. I'm pretty sure they are going to need a lapping but I will check with the leak test. I already ordered the new big bore kit, $50 gets me new pistons, rings and head gasket. That part was easy. Has anybody here honed their own cylinders?

Thats a good deal for pistons, rings, and gasket. Honing cylinders is easy. I used a small hone from the shop I work at and my small Mikita screw gun. I used some thread cutting oil (something else could work if you don't have any) and went to town for a while. The important thing is to match up a good rotational speed with a good in and out speed. Ultmately you want a good cross-hatch pattern on the cylinder walls so they hold oil during break-in. I'm sure you can find a good pic as an example if you search it online.

Something you should do is re-orient your kick start lever so that it sits at about the 10 or 11 o'clock postion rather than 12. At 12 the slpines can get damaged.

My old Dream had one of those stickers from the original dealer here in Montana. Literally looked exactly like that one only different name and address. Does anyone know if that was a standard sticker for Honda dealers back in the day?
I see you still have the air pump. That's cool!
