It looks like you would still need some kind of bracket to attach the springs, no?

(I think you could make a couple of bucks KellieLyynne selling customized Dream seats! I'd buy one too!) Help pay for the restore!

I threw it out there for my hubby ( the idea of making some extra seat brackets ) he said it wasn't that hard. The only problem I see is that he works like 15 hour days. So time is an issue. I will mention it again and see what he says. lol. But after 2 years of waiting for this bike to be done, I wouldnt expect him do anything very quickly lol.

I'm sure there's not enough profit in it for him to give up his time. (Time is very valuable!!) How about just some basic instructions on what he used and how he did it??

Here's a picture of my Dream under construction. I'm using an after market sole seat off ebay. I didn't want to drill additional holes or modify the frame in any way so I created a small frame of sorts to hold the solo. Here's a couple pictures.

Your bike is coming along nicely! Love the color!!!! :) I like the seat on your bike too. I think I like the curve of your seat a little better than mine. It accentuates the lines of the frame nicely. Well done! Keep us posted on your progress. We are still having issues with getting mine to start ROUTINELY!!! We had a small oil drip that we had to address before going any further, and then we will try to find tune this thing. I bought one of those Wisco batteries (blue and clear ones) because I liked the nostalgic look of it and the fitment was PERFECT! However, I don't think it is the best choice for batteries as far as getting the bike to start. It wears down quickly, and when your trying to get it to start so you can get the bike dialed in, that just isn't cutting it. Does anyone recommend a battery that will fit the early 1963 model battery holder that also had enough juice to make it FUNCTIONAL?
