The crankcase vent for these engines is the rubber hose on the top center of the motor.Take Loudmouses advice on this one.
I sure would like to see a cutaway of the engine just to see where those vent tubes lead to though.

The intake valve guide has a shallow/narrow groove cut around the (apx) middle of the outside and 4 holes drilled from the groove to the center (valve stem) area of the guide and the head has a couple of straight line holes drilled (one hole capped) from the guide location then to the point of the head where the vent tubes for the hose to the air cleaner attaches. Was to remove moisture from the intake valve. As there isn't much vacuum at the air filter to draw/suck the air/moisture away it was a production item that was dropped. ........lm
