SHE LIVESSSSSS!!!!!!
Oh thanks for that advice LM, I will definitely do that ASAP! Last thing I want is to mess this bike up. It's been fun riding her around. I get lots of thumbs ups and smiles. I think my hubby did a great job. My headlight quit working today, I think I just might break down and buy one of the replaceable bulb housings from Charlies place and get it over with. Has anyone used those yet? We have a spare burned out bulb and I thought we might try to make one of our own, but if that doesn't work, I will probably opt to buy one. Oh, and I read in Bill Silvers book about replacing the springs in the clutch is ones from a CB, and to use thinner clutch plates. Has anyone tried this? If so what were your results?
SpeedoAfter riding the Dream around a bit it is very clear that my speedo is WAY off mark when it comes to speed accuracy. Anyone have any advice in the department? I was cruising down a road where the speed limit is 50, and I was following the flow of traffic so I must have been going around 55 (or close to it) and the speedo registered 80 or more. Ideas anyone?

Re: SpeedoLube the cable with white grease.
Check for grease on the drive at the wheel. ............lm
I was fortunate enough to find a seat at Apex, but from what I understand, he is no longer selling them. There is a website that sells some that are pretty similar, I will post the link to it. About the hardware used, I am very fortunate to have a hubby that is a jack of all trades. He is a commercial plumber by trade but is very skilled in welding. So he constructed the hardware from scratch. However, I seen hardware sold on ebay that is pretty similar to what he put together.
