Rim question

Post by choctaw » Sun Mar 20, 2016 8:51 pm

I want to replace my rims on my 1966 ca77 here is my question. Rear wheel part # 42701-259-000 and front wheel # 44701-259-000 is there any difference in these rims. I found both online in Arizona Honda shop for around $130.00. I also saw some on E-bay from Thailand for half the price but don't trust them. Can anyone please help me out? Mike

Go with the Honda rims if you can afford them or get some drilled by these folks.

The Thailand ones often come with spoke holes drilled at the wrong angle.

I get mine re-chromed but I understand that can be expensive in the USA.
