Throttle Cable - CA77E - 1965

Post by 1281pele » Wed Nov 14, 2012 12:11 pm

Help.... as part of a general restoration I replaced all my cables with NOS genuine parts.

Problem: when I start the bike the throttle grip doesn't engage and rev the engine...? How do I adjust the cable. In specific detail please. I've been adjusting the nuts on the cable but can't seem to get it right...

Thanks!

Pull the top off the carb and you will be able to see what is happening when you turn the grip. The nipple may have slipped out of the grip or the throttle slide.
