Honda Dream Front Fender

Post by Josurr » Wed Oct 17, 2012 10:05 am

does anyone know how the front fender mounts to the lower bracket. Someone at the college before me removed the two, and drilled the bracket out, so i not have to make the holes smaller with weld before it can be mounted.

I was also wondering if there would be a reason for there to be a hole in the front of the front fender. It kinda looks like it was drilled out more than once.

if anyone wants pictures about what i was asking, i might be able to get some later today or tomorrow depending on how classes go.

The rear bracket mounts to the two suspension pivot bolts at the lower end of the front forks. Not a great picture, but you can see the bracket here in my picture.

Front fender

Josurr, If you could post pictures that would be helpful. If you are asking about how the front fender support mounts to the forks, Graham has described it so you should be able to figure it out. If you are asking how that support mounts to the fender that is different. Two straps spot welded to both. I don't understand what you mean that someone "drilled the bracket out".

The hole in the front of the fender sounds like it may be for an accessory "fender tip" or perhaps a bumper of some sort.

Pictures will get you more and better help.
