Have any of you ever converted a speedometer from kph to mph, if so what is involved.

Thanks

All you should need is a new face decal marked in mph.

would it be accurate? I was thinking that they would not have the same ratios and that I would have to change something in the drive.

There is no difference in the mechanical parts to the needle, just new labels to indicate the speed in different units. Many cars have both markings on the speedo nowadays.

You should be able to photograph or photocopy the dial from a km/h speedo.

The Odometer will read in miles still unless you change the gearing but speeds will be as accurate as the original speedo.
