CA 77 Dream Front Fender Differences

The parts manual I have just lists one front fender part number, however, some online fiche show 3 different numbers ending in "B", "C", and "Z"
My book lists only the "Z" number, but shows 2 different packing numbers.
Anyone know the difference?

I think those letters are color codes.

B= Black
C=Red
Z=Primer

That makes sense.
However, I found a vendor who says he has 2 different styles....a "wide flare" model and a "narrow flair" model. He is sending pics so I can compare.
I'm thinking the narrow model is either off a 160 or one that just hasn't been in an impact situation yet?
