needle settings

Recently installed a new carb kit on my C77, can't seem to find in my guide the proper needle position. I have seen in some of the posts several people do the process of trial and error really do not want to take the carb on and off multiple times. any help, thanks

Start in the middle position and go from there if needed. OEM needles, if not worn, are preferred over aftermarket replacement needles by many.
