VIN # Location

Hey guys, does anyone have any pics they can post showing the location of the VIN#? I just bought a CA77, but can't find the VIN # anywhere, I am not new to bikes, but I know of one thats titled off of the engine #.

Was there a early run that the frames were't numbered?

Look at the frame on the lower left side, above where the footpeg is attached. It's stamped vertically.

Paul if the numbers are within a hundred or two of each other, you probably have a match.

My CA frame and engine are 53 apart and my CL numbers are 32 apart, not unusual.
