CL 77 Swingarm

I am restoring a CL 77 # 1054240 The left side of the swing arm axle opening is 18mm
the right side is 21.5 mm the axle is 20mm
Why is the left side to small for the axle to penetrate?
Is the left side maybe damaged and needs to be machined?

Do you have a single brake lever at the hub or do you have 2 levers?. ..............lm

The brake is dual brake shoes with 2-actuators off of a single cable
should be style ll.

You describe what I thought might have been for the single shoe hub/axle. ............?????????????. .........lm

Do you think the swingarm is for an early CL72?
The bike was in pieces when I bought it and may be the swingarm is for a different model.
I have 2 other swingarms and the axle fits freely in both.
