Spoke nipple washer
When I removed the wheel rims from my CL72 wheels each nipple had a washer on it, was this Honda practice or is it a recognized mod? the rim holes are not oversize.

Yes - standard fitment on CLs. Maybe there to give a bit more strength in that area for a bike recognised as an off roader. Interestingly I don't think it was used on other Hondas and they don't seem to be present on my XL250 alloy rims.
Seem to be used a lot more on bicycles.
Just one of those Honda ideas that came and went.......
