ca77 stator convert to cl77 ???

i have a very descent and functioning ca77 stator however the mounting mech. are diferent but the general body and dimension are the same.

can the mounting hardware be swapped over leaving the timming mark in the same place ?

The parts will swap but ya will find the wires are shorter than the CB/CL part. ...........lm
