I know I have asked this before but want to be certain---is the below pic for a 66 or 65 Scrambler?
Thanks,

Dave
Are 66 chainguards easy to come by or are they extremely difficult and costly? The 65 is fairly rare I assume based on what I have seen on EBAY, etc.
JS, I need that 1965 if you decide to sell and would send money today -
Thanks,
Gordon

Chain Guard
I was the person who broached the idea of a swap out of chain guards. My late for his early. He said his was/is mint as I did about mine. After viewing his and comparing to mine, no contest in my estimation. Mine is in MUCH better condition. After agreeing to a possible even up swap, he changed his mind thinking his is more valuable than mine. NOT, by any stretch of the imagination. I'm not doing a restoration, just another rider to sell as my knees have given up the ghost on me/ Just trying to "help a feller out" so to speak. Both would need repainting as my frame is red and the guard is the standard black. JMHO. Don't really have a dog in the fight as there is no fight on my end anyway.

As I stated yesterday in an email, I appreciate your help but just felt that I could get more---didn't mean to upset you in any way. This isn't exactly a forum to post how you feel about this whole thing---sorry for the problem.
