DJM is correct that the late model CL’s changed to the CB part. Clearly the parts book shows perch was charged to the CB style at frame 1047978. Good grief!

Re: CL77 Clutch cable and perch question
The Honda Parts Bulletin issued on 30th June 1967 lists both lever perches with - 268- middle numbers and the two lever blades with - 216- middle numbers for bikes after frame number CL77 - 1047978. These are CB72 and CB125 part numbers respectively, so these bikes (probably not that many) did use the same perches as the CB72s and 77s. June 1967 must have been very near the end of production for the CL77s.
The last Honda Parts List I've seen for the CL77 was issued in November 1966, six months BEFORE the above bulletin was issued so of course it doesn't detail these changes and, in this, both levers and perches are listed with - 273 - middle numbers.
Hope this clears up the confusion.

Re: CL77 Clutch cable and perch question
My clutch cable is 42 inches long, overall. I'll measure the front brake cable when I get home.

Re: CL77 Clutch cable and perch question
I'll have to agree as I just checked my HONDA parts book and find it is a 1966 issue.
