Thanks for the info.
Anyone who can tell me or supply a picture how to guide the wire harness?
Left or right side of the frame?

This confirms my theory that the grey plastic ones are simply the metal shrouded ones with the shrouds removed. I don't think the shrouds were removed pre-delivery her in the UK so I'm guessing (again) that the service instruction came from American Honda.
I have a colour (color) brochure produced by European Honda Motor trading Company around 1965 which shows C95, CB160, C72, CB72 and CB77 ALL fitted with the metal shrouded plug caps but I know a lot of dealers threw the shrouds away.
In the interests of authenticity I have a pair of (Royal Enfield) shrouded caps on my CB77 and they haven't given me any trouble in two years running, to be fair though I haven't ridden it anywhere in wet weather

True, they were gray caps. You will find the removal instructions in the Honda pre-delivery manual also we were told by the regional service rep to remove them. Just because I had them and had forgotten, I put a set on my CL during resto. Guess how bad it ran until I noticed the arc. Removed them and all was well. Lessons learned years ago still apply today.
Do I need non-resistor caps or will a pair of LD05F do just fine?
I can also get the non-supressed LZFH version...
Also big choice here:
