After many months being elsewhere in the M/C world I am now getting the itch to get back into the old Hondas. I am looking at a cl72 that is complete ,running and has a title at a reasonable price.
So my question to y'all is just how does the tire size and gearing compare to the cl77 in ride and performance? Rusty

Thanks Randy, that is what I was thinking at least along those lines from what I remembered from past threads.
In all honesty, on the 305s I have ridden, the not happy one was me. 60mph on these small bikes without a wind shield is not a walk in the park. So for me the fun on these bikes is the back roads under 50. If I want speed on the highway I'll take my geezer glide.
I may just take the plunge and see where it leads me. Rusty

cl 72
rustywrench, I was wondering if you got that CL72. I have a 67 CL77 and I have kind of been looking for a 250 also. I have not heard of any for sale anywhere close by here (eastern Wa.)
Thanks, George
