Hi all - I may pick up a CL77E motor and will have to piece together a bike from s stockpile of parts available to me through the club I'm in and friends I have.
Do I have to find a CL frame, or will the CL motor fit into a CB frame? Or a CA? The attachment points at the top of the motor appear to be different than the 64 CB77 I have...
Thanks in advance,
Andy

Re: CL77 motor - Can it fit in a CB77 or CA frame?
You will need the the top engine cover specifically for the type frame you are using, in this case if you put a CB top cover on the CL engine it will fit. However you will not have a tach drive or an electric starter option available without changing the left camshaft and associated parts and the crankshaft and associated parts.305explr wrote:Hi all - I may pick up a CL77E motor and will have to piece together a bike from s stockpile of parts available to me through the club I'm in and friends I have.
