I just came into a 1967 305 scrambler, friend of mine bought it in a container from arizona hasn't been run since 1975 or so it wasn't froze up so poured oil and gas into cylinders and got it fired up i have not even changed the plugs. He tried to sell it but only got people who wanted parts so i bought it for 200 and it runs, and is complete but it needs paint and rust removel also i can not get it to idle. there is also a bump in the front wheel on the inside so it rubs on the brake pads can any bodie help me with thsese problems please. It does go when you get it going recently rebuilt carbs and where can I find parts.

Hey junki, Welcom to the 305 forum. You don't say if the idle problem is stalling or too fast idle. The bump in your front brakes is puzzling can you be more specific or mabey a picture would help so someone can give you some help. Kustommusic
