Are you saying there were areas to pick on?

The bike is too pretty to pick on. Cannot believe it got to $8600!! I'm sure if you paid to have it restored, it cost a lot more than that.Ilbikes wrote:You'll have to look. I tried to get it right, but it was my first and only CL77 I've ever touched or sat on.
I will say that no 1965 every looked that good out of the factory, but who cares. It's a gem for sure. You did a great job!. Cannot believe you are selling it. I'd die owning that bike.

Rob
Rob, I did sell it to the highest bidder. He came back with a $10,000 offer minus his shipping cost of $400. I'm happy with the $9,600.
If my garage had as much space as it looks in those ebay photos, I wouldn't have sold it. My problem is that I'm so full that anything I want to ride or charge the battery on takes me 20 minutes to get to. I can't even get my boat out without moving several, so while I love restoring them - it gets out of control. This photo is what fun getting out of control looks like. This is mad and senseless. While some will say I wish, I will quickly tell you "no you don't". These get neglected, the batteries fail, the fuel goes bad, and it would take me an entire afternoon to get some of them ready to ride. If I did ride one, it would take me months or years to get back to it. Thanks for the compliments -
