Removal of "plastic pads" on gas tank
Removal of "plastic pads" on gas tank
Is there a preferred way of removing the pads from the gas tank? How are they attached? I don't want to damage anything in the removal process. At times I can be good at that!!

tank pads
Morning: I just put the old EOM set back on a CL77 tank I painted. As long as the rubber isn't "hard" you can just pull it right off. There is a lip on the tank behind the pad. Grab the very back of the pad and pull out and up. The rest just pops off with a little pulling. It is a little harder getting it back on than off. I hope I explained this so you understand.. Let us know if this helps or not.
