CB77 piston std

Post by joeweir1 » Sat Jul 23, 2011 7:25 pm

I took this CB77 ART piston out of a CA77 acouple of years ago, the other one was damaged when it seized over time.I wanted to know if it was still useable with the rough edge on it at the exhaust side.I think it would be since it is on the edge and would not have a bearing on the compression.I do not need this and if someone does let me know.Joe

That piston lowers the compression of the CA77 engine and the compression is lower than the CB/CL77 engines with the correct pistons. .............lm
