cb-77 air filter element

Post by richeil » Mon Jul 07, 2014 5:47 pm

A long, long time ago someone on this forum described rebuilding their SuperHawk air filters. I now have mine cleaned of the old paper and glue. I have been unable to find a filter element in the automotive world that is usable.
I believe that in the old post the person described the brand and part number or application of a filter that had the proper pleats and length to use.
I guess I could be making up this whole thing but I don't think so. If I can find something wide enough then the pleat is way too deep.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
