just came across this pic in a german mag.dated oct 61
brake plates seems to be in the wrong wheels.

Some interesting other differences there too. Front fork seal holders look really long and the front fender appears to be narrower. Seal looks like a modern pattern one. Rear fender looks odd. I wonder if there is some air brushing going on there... I've seen similar pictures of the early bike(s) with those different air boxes / side covers. Footrest brackets seem completely different.

Hi G, yes there is a few, look at the side of the engine above the spark plug. thought the rear guard looked odd, there was only 2 pics in this mag, this one and one of the engine. thats as clear as i could get it.

That is the EARLY test configuration.
Compare all the parts at the engine then ALL THE OTHER PARTS FROM FRONT TO REAR.
Speedo mount, front brake, air covers, mud flap. Plus many other changes
The second pic is of the first issue we got a few of here in the states. .........lm

Also appears that the gas cap is in the middle of a seamless tank? Chase
