I am restoring a 1962 CB77 to its original Scarlet Red paint scheme. I have seen pictures where the center stand and the taillight bracket are painted black. Can anyone advise what other parts should also be painted black? What about the tool box, the rear fuel tank stay, coil brackets, rectifier bracket, battery box clamp, etc. Shoule these be black or the frame color? Also, I assume the black would be a gloss black, correct?
Thanks in advance.
Mike

Yes gloss black. Everything you mentioned w/ the exception of the tailight bracket which were originally silver. I believe the coil brackets were originally plated (zinc or gold in color).Coils black. Not 100% on the battery cover but I think they were frame color. Look around in the paint and restoration areas and you should find out for certain.
