resting position for kick starter

what it the correct resting position for the kickstarter on the 65 superhawk? i see several pics with it resting at different locations. some at 12:00 some at 2:00 some at 10:00. some even at around 2:00..(positions on the clock)

The second one is a little low, I'd say. Ed will clarify, I'm sure. I always set mine so that the kick peddle, when folded, is about 50mm from the alternator cover.

I'd say the second one here has too short a clutch cable too!
