What mufflers are those? Where did you get them?

dunstall mufflers. You can nab them pretty cheap on jcwhitney.
apparently they are nice and loud with a good growl, however tend to have a problem cracking at one of the joints where that tab pops up to connect to the back part of the frame. I've never owned any, just what I read on the forum.
I'm thinking of picking some up and reinforcing that joint.

Do you know that, first hand, or are you gunning from the hip? Just based on the picture, the rest of the bike looks too nice to have JC Whitney pipes. There are several other pipes that could look like that. I was looking for an answer from MANATEEBREATH.

My tag IS "Gun".
and I did say that it was just what i read. I shouldn't have opened up with the statement I did, but I did specify that I've had no firsthand experience.

This is why I reckoned they were the EMGO dunstall replicas

Image

ol' vince had them on his bike before he swapped em out for Toga somethingerother because of that mounting channel cracking.
and those look a bit like what i see in this thread.
but yeah, manatee will clear the fog.

Yep, that is exactly why I want to hear from him. I'm hoping to find something similar to the JCWhitney mufflers, except HIGH QUALITY. I was hoping he had already found them for me. It is probably impossible, but what I would really likle to find is a pair of the aftermarket reverse cone megaphones that about 50% of the Super Hawks were running back in the day. I think they were Webco, or something like that.

Yes, I know your tag is Gun. That is why I worded it the way I did. Hee Hee Hee
