I ordered all the cables and stuff. Got most from the place in Port Angeles, and got a few things from David Silvers, and eBay stores in Ohio, Canada, and Thailand. I was even able to score the longer shift rods to locate the pegs in the two optional positions. The farthest one back came from a place out of New York.
Now it's just a matter of waiting for the parts to come in.

Wow small world. Maybe we can get together and compare bikes sometime. It'd be nice to see what other enthusiasts think of the bike. I went to RMC a few weeks ago to take pictures of a Superhawk they had on display but apparently it wasn't open to public viewings anymore :( And Hinshaw's didn't have a Superhawk, although I think they might have a dream on display.Dgormley wrote:Racer, what a score! I live right down the road from ya, and am pretty well versed in these old contraptions. Give me a shout(or PM) if you need a hand.........................D
I'm a few months from transferring title so at present the bike isn't street legal, although I may take my chances and ride dirty around the neighborhood :)
