Great comments Tony. I'm sure that you and the owner aren't aware that at times when I or others see a CA/CB/CL72/77 up for bid we offer it up for LOOK AT and for fun we locate any faults and see who gets some of the problem items and what they are. On occasion there have been bikes that were a bunch of junk but described by the seller as being something only he had and you need to bid and buy. In the case of the CHROME CB77 I noticed the front fender was installed backwards (did you see it at the show) and I sent him a message to that fact. His reply was "THANKS FOR THE TIP!!! CAN YOU SEND ME PHOTO'S OF YOUR CHROME CB77 SO I CAN CONPARE KIND REGARDS, Keith. Where I replied. "I don't have one but have been involved with them since 1963 and I see and know things that others never knew. The bike has other parts problems also. .........emo". Where he replied "EMO. NOT TO BE RUDE!!! BUT FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER SELLING THINGS. I AM TELLING YOU THIS .DON'T BID!!! I KNOW YOUR THE ALL KNOWING ALL MIGHTY ONE!!! SO WAIT TILL YOUR PERFECT BIKE COMES ALONG!! WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR POINT?? WHAT IS YOUR ISSUE!! ARE YOU SAYING THIS IS A PILE? ARE YOU SAYING I AM TRYING TO SCAM FOLKS. IF YOU ARE MAN YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW ME!! DID I SAY THIS BIKE IS PERFECT NO? DID I SAY OR MIS-REPRESENT ANYTHING ON THIS BIKE NO ? DID I SAY IT WAS OUT OF THE CRATE NO? SO WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR POINT?? AND YOU HAVE THE HONOR OF BEING THE VERY FIRST TO PISS ME OFF {{{{EVER}}}} IT TAKES A TON TO PISS ME OFF AND YOU HAVE DONE IT!! CONGRATS {O GREAT ONE}!!! I THINK I KNOW WHO YOU ARE. YOUR THAT OLD DUDES FRIEND THAT DROPED 500 ON THIS BIKE AND SCREWED ME OUT OF THE REST CORRECT?? AND LEFT ME HANGING?? AND YOU ARE THE HIGH COURT AT BIKE SHOWS RIGHT. JUST MOVE ON WITH YOUR ALL MIGHTY YOUSELF!! I DID OR GET A DOG!!! THINGS THAT OTHER NEVER KNEW?? MAN I HEARD IT ALL YOUR SO FULL OF SHIT!! PISSED OFF 'KEITH". There is more but I think I've shown how someone can get out of hand when someone tells them they see a problem with the bike they offer just in case they weren't aware of it. As I sort of stated previously "bid with caution". .........lm
FWIW: I know he reads this and may learn a bit from this discussion.

Regarding you comments to the Chrome Bike and Bucks .I use this board for Data only thats about it? but I had to Say something on this topic
I saw this bike at the International Show and yes it has few minor flaws but what old bike doesn't?
This one was Real Cool to see!!!!
Lets Focus on the positive just for a moment
1.the whole Bike is Chrome and # matching from the Whole frame ,swingarm.forks, light, shocks, the whole bike. that would have cost the seller thousands and thousands. to complete that task .
I just had Quote on a set of pipes by friend and that was 800.00 for that?? not to mention putting it back correctly? I know you are stuck on the the fendor ,turn it around{ Simple} it is a Nice chrome fendor!!! it was not beat up!!!
the Chrome is PRODUCTION QUALITY NOT {NEW CHROME} SHOW ROOM QUALITY?? That is produced today. BIG point you missed this tells me it was done on a production line!!!
it seems to me you might focus on the Neg a bit much from what I read in your past post?? I like to see the positive or what I can Gain.
As for the front fendor, again turn it around it. no big issue. I looked at the bolts and not one-were cracked or from home depot!! the other stuff Buck makes a mention I would consider Minor stuff in my opnion. I have heard of these bikes but never seen one ,well now I did ,I sent the photo's that I TOOK to an expert and He said it has the Same Quality as the few that are out their and he saw it on Ebay too and he said I Quote: I have seen 3 now 4 all chrome superhawks. I think it worth a bid or 2.
now I would not pay 10k for it or anything like that but it would be a nice addition FOR ANY COLLECTION.
I talked to the Guy for a short time at this show he was real nice kind fellow!! he let me pull the seat off and the Harness still had a 1963 tag on it!! and for the chrome to be in that kind of condition floored me!!!as production QUALITY.it had a few surface rust spots in the tight places. but again over all it would be a Super cool project and not a basket case project and on a bike you just do not see ever. I would go nuts on. and when you were done you would have a superhawk that not many have. correct!. and it was not from a barn. or a rust bucket.
Ending
No way Someone Chromed this Bike!!! And REAL PRODUCTION CHROME HONDA!!! just my take

Loud Mouse
I am not getting in the middle.
and remember Email show no emotion: I was stating some Facts
I saw the bike, it is Nice Clean Cb77 the guy was nice to me, not you it looks like! it is real Honda Chrome in my opnion?
not sure why you are telling my about your convesation or posting it. If he does read this board I would be a little upset myself!! again I have read many of you post 999 or so and this is a little rough crowd!! I see that from your post it just shows it not all in fun like it you said???
if you picked on my stuff I would bite back a little too.
for all we know you could have wrote all that.and I could care less to tell you the truth.
or you do know the Seller and don't like him.your posting that tells me you hava a Issue with this Guy for some reason?
you make no mention of the TOPIC at hand?
the Good parts of the bike. like I asked?
I intend to BID beacause of what I saw not what you have stated
I do not know you or the seller, I met him for 10 min or so. we talked about the good and the not so perfect{correct way}
he took to the Show to find out more about this bike.that was about our conversation?
I think you should stick to the topic. and not be so personal I am starting to feel attacked!!! time to go.
The Bike is the Topic not the seller??

You are starting to feel attacked. And why is that. I say that you have great comments and explained how a seller went nuts when I told him of an obvious flaw with a bike he is offering on eBay. Look at my statements and his and you will see that at no time did I do more than inform him/you of what happens at times with this discussion list. He's the one that went off and now you feel attacked? Weather he is upset now is far beyond how his replies to my info that he had a bike with problems and I told him of only one for no other reason than to let him know and usually a seller that has been informed of something of this nature will add the info to the offer and explain they were not aware of the fault. Now you've only seen some of the messages and have some idea of how the nice guy reacts when someone has something to say of their bike. Read his (all of it) feedback to sellers/buyers and you may be enlightened to this persons dealings with others. I neither like or/dislike him but I will say that his 2 replies are totally out of line all the way. You saw the bike and I can tell ya his reserve is $3,500.00 so if it's worth that to you or others go for it. Thanks for your reply Tony. ..........lm

I did read his feed back, I always do. It looks fine to me? I guess I wanted to say I don't want you getting upset at me! because I went accross the grain a little and did not follow your lead like others do.
How do you know his res?
he looks to be a good seller? he has a sweet CBX right now too.
I just was pointing out the good in this bike: NOT ALL THE BAD ALL THE TIME a little change in tactic I don't think he knew about the fender? I was not sure when I saw it? but again I will turn it around easy fix.
the freaking thing is all Chrome and I never seen one in person.and the cost would be way more then 3500 to do all that correct? not to mention period correct most of it.
I know he did not do all that chrome!!NO WAY,
I wanted you to give a little positive about this bike I know you have seen way way worse out their let alone a chrome one.
1. It matches the others out their and those bikes were restored on top of it and how great do those look!!!!you seem to be the expert on this board. and you need to state the pros/cons
This one is one heck of a head start. I think
this one is as he found it. per seller except the seat and bars stated in the auction.
I look at what would benefit me. not you, not him, me!
you mention a few items grips and pegs small stuff.
the frame, shocks forks are all period correct? and more of this bike are all period correct.
nice chating with ya most I ever posted in my life just a reader

I read most of his feedback as sort of aggressive when someone complains. You see it different. No problem. Upset with you. Why would that be? As I stated I/we on the list at times look for faults as a "can you see it" sort of thing. Believe me the folks here are getting good at finding them. Why do this? To get a lot smarter as to what the bike was and should still be. Positive about the bike? Looks OK and the rear fender will require repair for the correct tail light bracket. Needs cables. Wrong seat. (OK with you and some others but still needs another to be correct). Gear shift lever and all parts. Now that's not much but they need to be corrected for a correct 1963 bike. $$$$$$$$$$ That's the Q and A part of the bikes that are offered and these answers can at times inform the neophyte of what to expect were they to bid and buy any bike we discuss on this forum. Positives are assumed when they are not mentioned as faults. How do I know the reserve. He told me in one of his messages. Your comments are welcome to me because you are civil and don't go off the deep end as you make yourself heard. ....................lm
