1966 CB77 chrome fenders and side covers?

1966 CB77 chrome fenders and side covers?
My friend has a '66 CB77 that is black in color with chrome fenders and side covers. He said he bought it that way. I've only ever seen them with grey side covers and fenders. Does anyone know if this was an original option or did someone along the way want make their own changes?

The 1966 issue of the HONDA CB77 wasn't issued with chrome fenders or side covers.
The 1967 last issues did have chrome fenders but not side covers.
Back when these bikes were "The Hot One to Have" folks added/changed to chrome parts often.. ........lm
