Just wanted to say to everyone. I'm new to the 305 forum, and CB77s, but restored and still own a CB450 Black Bomber and a CB750 K0. I love the old Hondas. The Superhawk as been on my list for a while, and I finally one locally that I intend to restore.
Reading through the forums here, gives me the impression that this is a pretty good bunch of helpful and knowledgeable guys. I'm sure I'll need help as I learn about these great little bikes. Hopefully someday I'll be able to help someone else with what I learn.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi, and drop a pic of the CB77 I bought. It's titled as a 68, but so far I think it's a 66 or 67. The frame is 1044220.
New Guy coming in......

You're doing it opposite of me! I'm knee deep in the CB750K0, and my superhawk is around the same age as your's. Mine is registered as a 68, but it's a 66. The date is on the main harness under the tank, if it's still surviving there. Good Luck, this is a great site. Lot's of knowledgeable people.

Welcome! Seems to be a rash of these popping outta the woodwork ... so did you sneak into my garage and steal a picture??
Mine is a 66 CB and is 5500 before yours (1049722), so I agree with Davo, but leaning toward 67. What's the date on the wiring harness tag underneath the seat?
My outlaws are in LA and I visit every few months. I'll PM you when I'm coming down.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. You all support my premise that this is a great site. I did look under the tank for the tag on the wiring harness (my Bomber had the samething). I didn't want to yank it around too much, but I unfortunately didn't see any date. I'll probably register it as a 67, and go with that.
I've already scored some great NOS parts from the guy I bought it from. He has a 61 CB77 that someone stole the engine out, while he was restoring it. I put another engine in it that he had laying around in his backyard (the engine is in rough shape), and I assembled some of it so he can sell it as a parts bike. It's on CL now (Orange County or Los Angeles section).
I'll post progress on my bike as it develops.
