Found a couple bikes.

IN the market of picking up another bike. Just for kicks, in hopes it's either better than mine, or has tons of useful parts I could use.

Looks like yours is the better of either of those two. I wouldn't buy either of those for parts, but they are good enough to make nice bikes out of if you want another one.

Yeah, I figured that. What about using them for some things like stealing the front complete fender, since mines cut back. Changing the exhaust. My rear fender needs repairing. I I could also use an undented tank...Things like that.

Well, here's what those parts typically sell for on ebay:

Uncut front fender: $75-$120
Exhaust: $150-$300 used in ok shape
Rear Fender: $25-$50
Tank: $60-$90

That 2nd bike is a CB160, hardly a thing that will interchange with your bike. Paying $1250 for a CB77 to use as a parts bike doesn't sound very appealing to me. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, I hear you on the 1200 dollar issue. Either way it was going to be more of a take what i need, replace with mine. And re-sell. But the more and more I think of it, It might be better to just buy parts. I'm still going to look at the CB77, because who knows, it may have a better transmission than mine. Mine is sticky in 2nd.
