Since nobody else seems to want to play, here's a few anomolies I spotted: Most glaring: when they changed out to incorrect low bars, they kept high bar cables, leading to "interesting" cable routing. Chain guard and buddy pegs wrong colors. Not sure but mirrors don't look right to me. Something not right about seat. Not familiar with one-piece mufflers, but these don't look quite right. Chrome spokes? Obviously has no battery or tailight would be on. Advertised as “show ready.” For this price it should be "museum ready." A nice bike, but imho it's neither as it stands. CHECK THE PARTS MIX WITH THIS RESTORATION
Re: amazing!
In all honesty, guys, I wish my old girl looked as good as either of them; it's easy to sit here, look at the pics of both machines and criticise. What we should be criticising, really, is the over-describing of each to the point of misrepresentation. There is much wrong with each bike. But had the buyer of the black one on eBay been told what isn't correct, he'd probably still have bought it. I guess some sellers have a confused perception of what is rebuilt and what is restored.
