Hey guys check craigslist - Don't Miss Out
that's a shame!
quick question for you guys... I've always wondered why there was a 250 and a 305. To me, and inexperienced lad concerning motorcycles, 50cc doesn't seem like a huge difference concerning the feel of the ride on the street. Was Honda's decision to do the 250 and 305 driven by racing brackets?
I mean, i know after the 305, you have the 350... but the 350 and 450 kind of replaced the older models didn't they?
Blah, it's a dumb question I suppose. I guess i'm just thinking about my own eventual collection of these bikes, and I doubt i'll pick up a cb72 because I intend on riding all my bikes and if there isn't much difference in the ride, I don't see the point. Another sign of my lack of understanding, I suppose.

I believe originally the difference in displacements was because of licensing requirements (drivers). Different limits for different displacements/insurance etc. At least that was the way it was when I was stationed in Iwakuni, Japan back in 1958 while in the Marines.
