Cb77 speedo lube and bezel ?

Post by Kthomas55 » Sun Jun 30, 2019 6:02 pm

I’m trying to sort out a speedo assembly. I had three that were all rough and all the trim rings are split or banged up . Anyone have an extra ?
Any suggestions on lubrication . Do you or don’t you ? If so where and what type of lube ?

Speedo drives

The only working speedo I have is a mid era one (I suppose ) but the bike is a 67 or 68. Since the speedo needles swing different ways I suppose the drives are different or am I wrong ?

The speedo drive at the front wheel does turn the cable a different direction. .....................lm
