trouble shooting a CA77

I have a '62 dream motor. It was running at least, but then it wouldn't start yesterday. I found no fire coming out of the spark plugs when I hold them onto the block and turn the motor over. There's juice going to the coil and the points spark, could it be - abad coil or condensor? The plugs and points are clean and gapped. The battery is fully charged. The carb has plenty of fuel in the bowl. Like I said, it was actually running- until it got stuck in 3rd when i took it out around the block. I got it back int nuetral by taking off the left side cover and working the shifter linkage. But, no spark at the plugs !?- Jeff
