Starting e-ignition CB77 after many years

Hi,
This weekend I'll be working to get an 1964 CB77 with e-ignition installed (purchased here) running again.

Besides the crime of this bike sitting dormant for 8 or more years, are their any specific concerns I should be aware of? Is it a terrible idea to put install a new battery, add new gas, and try to crank it up? I'll be working with a couple others more knowledgable than myself.
