180 degree out timing
180 degree out timing
i picked up a 41 year barn storage CL77last week. it turns over with comp so i tried to start it i noticed the points assy was in upside down so i switched it right side up . i cleaned the points and set the timing ajusted the valves. i had a new battery so i hooked up my aux tank and tried to start it. it pops a little but mostly back thru the carbs(had a few small fires) did the po have the points in upside down for a reason? thanks Ron
